Campaign Story

Hi! We’re Blake and Kayla, a couple from Phoenix, AZ, who have been together for 12 adventure-filled years and married for the last three. We both work at the same inner city high school—Kayla as a ceramics teacher and Blake as a safety assistant. We enjoy working with kids and have spent many summers as swim lesson instructors and pool managers. We actually met while we were lifeguards over 20 years ago! In our free time, we love camping, traveling, and hiking with our beloved dog, Frances.

Family has always been at the heart of our lives. Growing up with four siblings each, we experienced the joy, chaos, and deep bonds that come with large families. We love our 12 nieces and nephews with all our hearts and enjoy spending quality time with them as often as we can. We’re eagerly awaiting number 13 due this spring! Now, more than anything, we dream of starting a family of our own.

For almost four years, we’ve been on a challenging journey trying to conceive. Our path has been shaped by a mix of infertility challenges—Blake with a low sperm count and Kayla with diminished ovarian reserve. Despite these obstacles, our hope has remained strong. We’re fortunate to be working with an incredible Reproductive Endocrinologist who we trust completely, guiding us with expertise and compassion.

This journey has been emotionally and financially challenging. Infertility treatments and medications are costly, and while we are committed to doing everything we can, the expenses can feel overwhelming. We’ve created this space not only to share our story but also to humbly invite support from those who feel moved to help. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward our treatment costs and bring us one step closer to realizing our dream of becoming parents.
